Transfirst and Easy Digital Downloads Integration Guide
In order to integrate a TransFirst Transaction Express payment gateway account, you need to obtain the Gateway ID and RegKey from your Transfirst express control panel. In Trexle dashboard, navigate into Payment Gateways tab and choose TransFirst Transaction Express from the drop down menu. Fill into the Gateway ID and RegKey fields, click submit and wait a few seconds for the success message to appear in red. The dashboard will refresh and show your TransFirst Transaction Express payment gateway, click the Activate button in green to go live.
Take the credentials you just obtained from Transfirst and navigate to Trexle dashboard, click Payments Gateways and select Transfirst from the drop down menu as shown below.
Fill into your Transfirst credential and click Add Gateway. Click the Activate button next to Transfirst, and it will give you a success message and the button will turn into green. You should see something like below.
To install Trexle extension to your Easy Digital Downloads shop, follow these steps:
- Download Easy Digital Downloads Trexle extension from Trexle GitHub repository.
- Log to the Administrator area of your site and navigate to Plugins → Add New.
- From there you’ll see an option to Upload Plugin.
- Select the file you have previously downloaded, click Open and then Install Now.
- You have successfully installed Trexle extension. After installation, click the Activate Plugin button.
To ensure the integration works seamlessly, create a test product, logout from your admin session and perform a checkout as a regular customer.
After placeing an order using a test card, you should see this.
Transaction Express doesn’t provide any test cards, and possibly no sandbox environment.
